Blessings from sataranga

The word Sataranga means opalescence in Sanskrit. To me, opalescence means shining with the light of the rainbow, which I correlate directly to the chakra system. The chakra system explains the main 7 wheels, or areas of energy which move vertically and throughout our bodies. These correlate to the rainbow, beginning at the base of the spine with red, and ending at the crown of the head with violet.

This is exactly the type of energy I aim to invoke in my bodywork.

Vitalism

This essentially states that there is a vital force, a consciousness, which flows and is present within and throughout our bodies, as well as all other living organisms. This vitality is self preserving, always nurturing and supportive to what is best for our personal evolutionary growth, our overall balanced health and our ease of flowing through the ups and downs in our lives. Hence, our bodies are inherently, consistently pushing for healing and a sense of wholeness, completeness, resting in duality or harmony with all else.

Therefore, during sessions, I use my intuition to communicate with your body's wisdom to guide us on our journey. Together, energetically and mostly without words, we will weave together knowledge of the Chakras, the Elements, Astrology, Herbalism, and Alchemy to come to a safe feeling of true connection to all other living beings. Allowing our bodies to express truthfully in a loving, safe environment (compared to traditional stifling conditional relationships) encourages a playful outlook on life, and a long-lasting sense of peace in your place in the universe.
